Anndee Hall, CSW

Anndee Hall (she/her) is licensed as a Certified Social Worker (CSW). She graduated with a Master of Social Work degree from Boise State University in 2023. Anndee completed her first one-year master’s level social work internship at Wasatch Behavioral Health working in the Grandfamilies and Strengthening Families programs as a group therapist. She completed her second internship in school social work for Alpine School District in Utah County with a focus on individual therapy, group therapy, and resource management.

Anndee moved to Utah from Idaho in 2014 for school, and completed her undergraduate education at Utah State University in 2017. After graduating, she obtained her teaching license, and was an art teacher for four years prior to pursuing social work. Anndee has experience working at Family Haven with youth adopted from foster care. She worked in a short-term inpatient setting as a therapist assistant at Provo Canyon Behavioral Hospital (now Aspen Grove hospital) with teens, adults, high acuity patients, and detox patients. In addition to working in private practice, Anndee also works in the hospital setting as an ED social worker/care manager at emergency departments in the area, and facilitates addiction treatment groups at Pomarri in Orem.

Anndee’s therapeutic treatment modalities of choice include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and mindfulness-based practice. Anndee works with individuals seeking treatment regarding suicidality, anxiety, substance use, cognitive distortions, LBGTQ+ affirming care, trauma, and depression. Anndee prefers to work with individuals aged 14 and older. Anndee focuses on evidence-based practice and stays up to date on current and relevant research to inform her practice. As a social worker, Anndee is able to assist with resource management needs, such as helping individuals to find access to basic needs like clothing, food, and housing, and to provide referrals to programs that may be beneficial to treatment.

In her free time, Anndee likes to engage in a variety of crafts and hobbies such as cold-process soapmaking, cooking and baking, drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics, gardening, etc. Anndee enjoys spending time with her family, which consists of her long-term partner and their two dogs, as well as spending time with extended family and friends. She loves outside activities such as hiking and camping, but also loves indoor activities such as taking naps and binge-watching TV shows. It’s all about balance!
