Nicholas Christensen, ACMHC

Nick Christensen is an Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor. He graduated from Utah Valley University with a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2024. Nick also holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Philosophy.
Nick is a firm believer in counseling’s ability to improve individuals’ lives. He is deeply committed to helping clients achieve their goals and live happier, healthier lives. For Nick, it is a privilege to accompany individuals on their journey toward greater self-awareness, self-acceptance, resilience, and personal growth.
He utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches, including CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), EFT (Emotion-Focused Therapy), and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy). His integrative approach emphasizes common factors across various modalities to tailor treatment to each individual’s unique needs. Nick is passionate about adapting therapy to the individual and stresses the importance of building strong therapeutic relationships with his clients.
Psychology is an ever-evolving field with much left to uncover. Nick strives to refine his expertise in ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, bipolar disorder, and life transitions. He regularly participates in research and workshops to stay current with the latest findings and best practices, demonstrating his commitment to adapting his practice to meet his clients’ unique needs throughout his career.
In his free time, Nick finds joy and comfort in the natural world through activities such as hiking, skiing, kayaking, and camping. He also enjoys recharging through books, movies, video games, music, and, most importantly, his relationships with others.
