Michael Haderlie, Ph.D.

Michael Haderlie, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist who has been in private practice in Utah County since 2011. He completed his doctorate training at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas after completing a bachelor’s degree at Brigham Young University and a master’s degree at Pacific University. He also completed a one-year internship at the University of Kansas student counseling center.

Dr. Haderlie works with adults, adolescents, and children. He has specialized training in the treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, and Trauma. He has additionally worked with individuals experiencing a wide variety of concerns related to depression, relationship difficulties, chronic pain, sports performance, and anger management, among others. Dr. Haderlie conducts assessments including ADHD diagnostic evaluations and pre-surgical evaluations for individuals contemplating bariatric, spinal, or other elective surgeries.

Dr. Haderlie has a passion for the field of psychology and strives to keep informed of psychological research. He focuses on evidence-based practice in order to best serve his clients, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), and acceptance-based approaches.

In his personal time, Dr. Haderlie enjoys spending time with his family. He holds a national D-license in coaching from the US Soccer Federation and has coached teams for each of his three children. He enjoys camping, hiking, and any outdoor activity. When confined inside, Dr. Haderlie is a fan of almost any board game or card game, and does try to read an occasional book.
